New England Patriots
New York Jets
On a yet another rainy day in Seattle, just their 81st in a row with some sort of rain, the gritty young Seahawks mounted another comeback on their homefield and dispatched the New England Patriots, 24-23 with a last minute touchdown at CenturyLink Field on Sunday afternoon.
No matter what you think of the Patriots effort on either side of the ball a few guys did show up to play on Week 6 in the Pacific Northwest.
Lets start with rookie defensive end Chandler Jones, who is quickly becoming Pro-Bowl and possible All-Pro material with another stellar game of 9 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 tackle for loss, 3 QB hits and forced fumble, his 3rd of the season. The guy is what some would say a “high motor player”. If you don’t love him already, you should.
You can also include LB Brandon Spikes 5 tackles, 2 tackles for loss both on Seattle RB Marshawn Lynch and 1 QB hit. He is truly developing into the player they drafted three years ago out of Florida.
Offensively it was RB Danny Woodhead 7...

The Seahawks came back to beat to beat the Patriots 24-23 on Sunday, much to the delight of Richard Sherman. Sherman, a second-year corner from Stanford, intercepted Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in the third quarter. His teammate, safety Earl Thomas, turned the trick in the fourth quarter. The two picks plus the team’s comeback prompted Sherman to gloat about beating Brady through...
The Seattle Seahawks have one of the top NFL defensive units in 2012 and along with the 12th man, it’s not an easy task for an opponent to enter their territory.According to the Boston Herald, the 12th man is overrated.“Do you really believe the Patriots can’t score on the Seattle Seahawks if they have to huddle up to be heard?”said Ron Borges in his Patriots column.CenturyLink...
New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker got the stuffing knocked out of him during Sunday's game in Settle versus the SeahawksAlthough Welker definitely appeared shaken up on the play, the diminutive wideout still ended up with 10 catches, 138 yards and one touchdown. Despite his heroics the Patriots lost the game, 24-23, after surrendering two touchdowns with under eight...
The New England Patriots lost three players Sunday,
including wide receiver Brandon Lloyd, during their loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Lloyd’s shoulder injury isn’t expected to be serious, reports Jeff Howe of the
Wide receiver Brandon Lloyd left late, but it didn’t appear to be anything
concerning. That will need to be monitored going forward...

If you were looking for the hit of the weekend from the NFL's week six, it came from the Seattle Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner.

Through five games, the New England Patriots led the league in points per game with 33.0 and yards per game at 439.4. But the way New England gained those yards was different than in recent years. The Patriots were ninth in passing yardage with 274.0 yards per game, down from second in 2011 with 317.8 yards per game. But the Patriots were third in rushing yardage with 165.4 yards...
The New England Patriots and New York Giants have more in common than just playing each other in exciting Super Bowls. They also have a knack at getting bit by the injury bug and having key players wind up on the weekly NFL Injury Report. For Week 6 of the 2012 NFL season, things are no different, as Aaron Hernandez, Wes Welker and Hakeem Nicks are all game time decisions, but are...
ESPN - Teddy Bruschi ChatHi Teddy. Do you think Richard Sherman twitter comments were classless. And do you think he has the guts to say to Vince Wilfork instead of going after a franchise quaterback?Tommy, Vince Wilfork doesn't play offense and Tom Brady was talking trash out there, too. The Seahawks' secondary had a huge day. There was trash-talking going on during the...
The Seattle Seahawks pulled off an upset victory of the Patriots on Sunday, beating them 24-23. Seahawks cornerback, Richard Sherman tweeted a message out to the Pats superstar Tom Brady following the game. Seems as if the QB was trash talking Sherman and safety Earl Thomas before the game. First, there was this: But that [...]
How are we all feeling this Monday? Stupid question. Every New England Patriots fan is feeling pretty pissed right now. After a very promising 2 game win streak, we've been rocked by this defeat to the Seattle Seahawks. I came out of last weeks win vs the Denver Broncos uneasy due to our 4th quarter struggles. This resurfaced during the whole second half. This was not the Patriots...

Russell Wilson found Sidney Rice behind the secondary for a
46-yard touchdown with 1:18 remaining, and the Seattle Seahawks
rallied for 14 points in the final 7:31 to stun the New England
Patriots 24-23 Sunday.
This isn't going to be an easy win. On offense, the Patriots have scored more points than any other team in the league, and they're in the top ten in passing and rushing yardage, although it's primarily the threat of their passing attack that's kept their run game effective. The Seahawks have a top five defensive unit, but if they want to be known as one of the...
