They weren’t able to keep Carl Nicks. He left for Tampa Bay on Wednesday.
OG Ben Grubbs was out there, so it was a pretty much a no-brainer.
Grubbs signed a 5-year deal with the Saints worth a whopping $36 million with a $10 million dollar signing bonus ($16M guaranteed).

Now that he's a member of the Saints, I figured I'd learn more about Ben Grubbs by catching up with esteemed blogger Tony Lombardi of Ravens 24x7. No one knows more about the Ravens than this guy, so make sure you go check out his site. Many thanks to Tony for taking the time to give us his take on Grubbs. Here is what he had to say:

Baltimore is always prepared for free agency and they generally wait for the market to set itself before pursuing free agents from other teams. Now it’s looking like the Ravens will lose two free agents.

According to multiple reports, outside linebacker, and longtime Raven, Jarret Johnson has agreed to a four-year deal with the Chargers.
Johnson is one of the better run-stopping linebackers in the league, but was often replaced on passing downs.
Third-year player Paul Kruger is likely...
I’m sure by now you’ve heard of that 55 year old woman who’s trying to make the Cowboys cheering squad. Lord knows she’s attractive enough and has the body for it. Let’s just see if the team actually gives her a shot.
Speaking of tryouts, looks like teams from all over the NFL are getting their tryouts on. This week we take a look at how things are fairing out...
