The evidence continues to mount that Kyle Arrington is the real deal. The Patriots third-year cornerback jumped to the top of the interception leader board after a two-pick game in Week 3 against Buffalo. It seemed like a nice story and little more, but we’ve just finished Week 11 and Arrington remains in the top spot — and his lead is growing. Arrington had two interceptions in the Patriots 34-3 win over the Chiefs on Monday night to increase his NFL-leading total to seven. That’s two more than his next closest challenger. Both of Arrington’s interceptions against the Chiefs were the result of deflections off of receivers, but he’s not just the luckiest guy in a pair of shoulder pads. Arrington has been in the right place at the right time too many times this season for it to be a fluke. “That’s being around the ball,” Arrington said. “We try to be a very opportunistic defense.
