PLAYERS: Cam Newton
TEAMS: Carolina Panthers
Auburn has hired Gus Malzahn away from Arkansas State to become the Tigers new head football coach. Malzahn was the Tigers' offensive coordinator for three years 2009-2011, until he left to become HC of Arkansas State. His time at Auburn included the 2010 BCS title season, featuring Cam Newton at quarterback. Sadly for Auburn and Malzan, Newton is staying with the Carolina Panthers. (via al.com)
