You know we've passed the trade deadline and things are kind of quiet because what we're left with in the way of news, is pretty slight. There are two reports in the news this morning about hair! The LA Times has a story about Joe Torre asking Manny Ramirez to cut his hair. Manny being Manny, it doesn't seem likely. With the fast start that he has had since arriving in LA, his hair should not be an issue.
When Jason Giambi grew a mustache in early May to jump-start his hitting, it worked and lifted him out of a slump. He shaved it off the other day, saying, "There's no more hits left in it. No more hits."
