Jim RacaltoNothing like a little beef between NFL receiving corps, right? Back in September the Falcons’ Roddy White claimed that he and Julio Jones were the best receiving duo in the NFL, saying Victor Cruz was “too small” and “numbers don’t lie.”
With the Giants and Falcons set to duke it out this weekend, Big Blue’s freakish receiver Hakeem Nicks had some words for Roddy White and the Falcons:
“Numbers don’t lie, or Super Bowl rings don’t lie, neither,” Nicks said, via Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger. “So when you get (into) that battle about who’s the best, I think you just let your play on the field talk for you. You ain’t got to be talking with your mouth. We’re going to always feel like we’re the best. We strive to be the best. We aren’t going to get into that battle, that argument of who’s the best, who’s better, because that’s not what it’s about. It’s going out there and playing team ball, and who’s going to win.”
I’d have to side with Nicks on this one, whenever you have titles as bragging rights, you have all the bragging rights you needs. Until Roddy and Julio catch up in that aspect, they probably shouldn’t give the defending champion Giants any more reason to get fired up for this game.

Earlier this season, Falcons wide receiver Roddy White claimed that Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz is only a slot receiver and that he can’t play on the outside with the “big boys”. He also claimed that he and Julio Jones are the best receiver tandem in the league.

It was a wild Sunday for all four teams in the NFC East, which has now become the most “up for grabs” division in the league, with the New York Giants, Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles (although they were eliminated from the playoffs Sunday) winning in Week 14. New York has a one-game lead against...
Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks of the New York Giants took time out of their schedule to film a new commercial for Foot Locker. The commercial demonstrates the differences between a good and a bad Christmas gift. In all honesty the commercial is god awful, I hope when Cruz said “I know a thing or two about bad acting” he knew this was exactly that.
