Earlier this season, Falcons wide receiver Roddy White claimed that Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz is only a slot receiver and that he can’t play on the outside with the “big boys”. He also claimed that he and Julio Jones are the best receiver tandem in the league.
Cruz stated that he didn’t care about White’s comments because he now has a Super Bowl ring.

“We’re going to always feel like we’re the best. We strive to be the best,” Nicks said on Tuesday, via the Newark Star-Ledger.
“We (aren’t) going to get into that battle, that argument of who’s the best, who’s better, because that’s not what it’s about. It’s going out there and playing team ball, and who’s going to win.”
Nicks also brought up his Super Bowl ring.
“Numbers don’t lie, or Super Bowl rings don’t lie, neither,” said Nicks. “So when you get (into) that battle about who’s the best, I think

The Giants don’t need to beat just any opponent this Sunday, they need to beat the 11-2 Falcons. And they won’t face just any pair of receivers, they’ll face Roddy White and Julio Jones, who many consider the best tandem in the league. Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks of the New York Giants took time out of their schedule to film a new commercial for Foot Locker. The commercial demonstrates the differences between a good and a bad Christmas gift. In all honesty the commercial is god awful, I hope when Cruz said “I know a thing or two about bad acting” he knew this was exactly that.
