The New York Giants two best wide receivers, Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks, were not in attendance for Wednesday’s practice at the Timex Performance Center. Cruz’s absence was not a surprise, because he hasn’t signed a contract for the 2013 season.  But Nicks was expected to be on the field with his teammates.
