Cincinnati Bengals Blog:
In a game that they desperately need to hang on to the sixth seed in the AFC, the Bengals have their first lead at the half since the Seattle game in Week 7. They have given up six plays of 18 yards or more but have 10 points off turnovers.
Cedric Benson is having his best game of the season with 92 yards on 13 carries and Andy Dalton is an efficient 9 of 17 for 112 yards. Two of Mike Nugent’s field goals are from 47 yards or longer.
Offensively, the Bengals are moving the ball well but take away the turnovers and the Bengals are having a tough time containing the tight ends.
On a positive note, the Bengals didn’t allow any second-quarter points for the first time in 10 games.

Big Names Who Could Disappoint
Dalton has burst onto the scene as a rookie, and would be a favorite to...
Mike Nugent: Kicked four field goals, including a 47- and 49-yarder. It is the fourth time this year Nugent has had three or more field goals in a game.
Rey Maualuga: Had a key stop and forced a fumble of Ben Tate at the Bengals 3 before he recovered it to stop a Texans drive. Maualuga finished with six tackles.
Cedric Benson: Had 91 yards on 22 carries, including a 42...
The Bengals were up 16-3 at the half, as things were looking good, but in the second half they folded up the tent. Andy Dalton was so-so in this game as he completed 16 of 28 passes for 189 yards with 1 TD pass and 0 INTs. Cedric Benson led the way on the ground for the Bengals in this game with 21 carries for 91 yards (4.3 ypc). WR A.J. Green (5 rec, 59 yards), TE Jermaine...
Running back Cedric Benson is probable for Week 14 vs. Houston, according to John Clayton of ESPN.
Benson may still be slowed by his foot injury though, and is not a good bet for fantasy production against a ferocious Houston run defense. So keep fantasy expectations tempered.
