Cincinnati Bengals Blog:
Without much argument, you have to say this was the Bengals best half of the season. All six possessions reached Arizona territory and the Bengals could have scored on all six. Instead they have two touchdowns and Mike Nugent was 2 of 4 on field goals.
Defensively, the Bengals have sacked John Skelton three times and have forced two interceptions.
Andy Dalton was 15 of 22 for 136 yards and two touchdowns in the half, including a 19-yarder to Jerome Simpson where he got airborne at the 2 and executed a somersault into the end zone three yards deep. Jermaine Gresham had the first touchdown with an 11-yard reception on tight coverage from Daryl Washington.
So far, so good.
