Former Miami quarterback Vinny Testaverde will be inducted to the College Football Hall of Fame. Vinny was the first announced member of the 2013 Class, the rest will be announced tomorrow. Testaverde’s stellar career at Miami led to him being the #1 overall pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1987.
During his tenure at Miami Testaverde went 23-3 as a starter. As a senior he won the Heisman Trophy and was a unanimous first-team All-American. He led Miami to three straight bowl games, and finished his collegiate career with 6,000-plus passing yards and 48 touchdown passes.
