Cincinnati Bengals Blog:
Leon Hall could have been one of the top cornerbacks had he elected to test the market in free agency during the offseason. Instead, he has a contract extension with the Bengals.
“The main reason going into the process was overall happiness,” Hall said. “I have enough faith in this team. We’re already heading in the right direction. We just have to make the plays to win these games. Those will come soon here.
The other side of happiness is my family is here. I have my feet settled in Cincinnati. I love the city, people have been great and I have the best neighbors. There are a lot of positives to stay. I love the coaches and teammates. Sometimes you go to free agency, there’s a lot of ifs. You don’t know who needs you. It’s a lot of up in the air. It’s great in certain situations but I just thought personally it would be great for me to stay.”
