The Bengals run of re-signing core members of their team has continued with Leon Hall signing a four-year extension worth $39 million. Hall was entering the last year of his contract and like Andrew Whitworth’s deal this will keep him in Cincinnati through the 2015 season. Hall’s base salary will jump from $3 million to $5.1 million this season. The contract also includes a $9 million signing bonus and a $5 million roster bonus next year. After last night’s preseason finale against Indianapolis, Hall was very optimistic that both sides were close to a deal. It was also believed that Hall’s side wanted a deal done by the Sept. 11 opener against Cleveland or else talks would have been suspended until the end of the season.
