In today’s Post-Gazette it has already begun, Casey Hampton is the one doing the talking now.
“They talk a whole lot,” Hampton said. “They don’t like us. I think they don’t like us a lot more than we don’t like them. I think they have to talk themselves into it, kind of, know what I mean? Since I’ve been here, we’ve beat them a lot more than they beat us. They have to talk about it a whole lot.”
The Steelers have won 6 of the 8 last meetings between the two teams including two post season wins. One last year on our way to the Super Bowl. In that last meeting the Steelers held the Ravens to 35 rushing yards and Flacco was 16 for 30 and 125 yards, one TD and one interception and was sacked 5 times.
I’m sure there will be some response by the Ravens this week. Only 5 more days until the Steelers win their first game of the season. I think Hampton summed it up best:
