Baltimore Sun:
Ravens coach John Harbaugh will miss Friday’s afternoon practice because he will attend the memorial service for Jim Johnson, the long-time defensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles.
After the morning practice, Harbaugh is scheduled to fly by helicopter to Philadelphia. Harbaugh worked on the same staff as Johnson for eight years. He also taped a segment that will air at the service.
Johnson died on July 29 from melanoma. He was 68.
Special teams coach Jerry Rosburg, who is also the assistant head coach, will take Harbaugh’s spot at practice.
