As if the Falcons could be any more decimated by injuries on offense, receiver Harry Douglas joined Tony Gonzalez in missing Falcons practice on Thursday. Douglas is missing because of a knee injury. Gonzalez has been missing since injuring a toe in last Sunday’s game. According to the Falcons’ official Twitter account, head coach Mike Smith is holding out hope Gonzalez will be able to return to practice on Friday.
