Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Miami Dolphins

Hard Knocks is less than a month away, premiering August 7th on HBO.  After what seemed like an eternity in deciding on a team, the Miami Dolphins were selected.  And, after watching the trailer, it's amazing to consider how excited one can get for football season to finally arrive.  Just watching slo-mo footage of training camp tells me September can't get here fast enough.  And, I'm warming up to the idea of the Dolphins as this year's franchise under the spotlight with a rookie QB and head coach working their first training camp.  Whatever happens, all of that uncertainty about a successful season of Hard Knocks should be a distant memory come August 7th.  It's just another sign football is near.

Hard Knocks Trailer Time: Are You Ready For The Miami Dolphins?

When it was announced that the Miami Dolphins would be the subject of this season of HBO’s Hard Knocks series after 11 other NFL teams – and probably a few NCAA, AFL, UFL and Lingerie teams – turned it down, the public response was a collective, “Meh.” After all, this was prior to the Dolphins signing Chad Ochocinco so it seemed like we were going to have to depend on...
