Baltimore Sun:
Todd Heap's return as a play-making receiver last week was right on time. The Ravens' tight end figures to play a prominent role again Sunday in San Diego, if history is any indication.
Heap has nine catches worth 110 yards and two touchdowns in two career games against the Chargers, including the game-winning catch in a 16-13 win in 2006. His decisive 10-yard reception came in the final 34 seconds on a pass from Steve McNair.
What's more, Heap usually eats up AFC West clubs. In 12 career games against West division teams, he has 51 catches for 616 yards and seven touchdowns. The Ravens have two AFC West teams left on the schedule: Denver on Nov. 1 and Oakland on Jan. 3.
