Found November 12, 2012 on Chicks in the Huddle:
It’s the fat lady singing. Jeremy Maclin, giving it his all Eagles v. Cowboys, Sunday, November 11, 2012 Stud of the week: Jeremy Maclin. Mac had a solid game, and made some clutch catches to try to help his rookie QB. He even came back into the game after getting pretty much obliterated by Charlie Peprah. Joe Buck was all, “he should’ve caught that.” You want to hold him while I hit him, or vice versa? Shout out to Riley Cooper for the circus catch on that first drive, too. The game started well. The Eagles opening drive was probably the best opening drive we’ve seen out of them this season. And remember, the Cowboys have a top 10 defense. I was feeling pretty positive. OK, sure then the Cowboys proceeded to march downfield for a TD, taking the game to 7-7. But still, it gave me momentary hope. And then! The Eagles had a SACK! A SACK! Then they had ANOTHER one! Could my typical Eagles fan pessimism be wrong, for once? Of course not. Silly me. Vick went down with a concussi...

Michael Vick Injured in Cowboys-Eagles Matchup With Concussion, Will Not Return (Animation)

The Nick Foles era is starting earlier than expected. Michael Vick went down mid-way through the second quarter after taking a blow to his head. After being assessed on the sideline for an eye and head injury, he’s been ruled out for the rest of the game with a concussion. Vick was scrambling on the play when defensive tackle Jay Ratliff landed on the Eagles’ quarterback awkwardly...

Nnamdi Asomugha’s Chances Of Remaining An Eagle “Slim?”

Jeff McLane of the Philly Inquirer responded to a question regarding Nnamdi Asomugha future will the Eagles by suggesting that he a “slim” chance of returning and would most likely have to take a pay cut. Since his arrival in Philadelphia, Asomugha has been a huge disappointment. His poor play last year was attributed to the Eagles defensive scheme, but he has continued to...

Andy Reid’s ending becoming a sad affair

5 NFC Championship games. 1 Super Bowl appearance. 6 NFC East titles and 1 NFC Championship. 129 wins, 86 losses and 1 dreadful tie. The greatest era of Eagles football ever. It’s a record that most NFL coaches would kill for. In Philadelphia, it’s about to cost a man his job. This is a bitter end. Not the one that Andy Reid deserved. You can say what you want about the man,...

Report: Concussion will likely keep Michael Vick from playing next week

According to Howard Eskin of FOX 29 in Philly, Eagles quarterback Michael Vick likely won’t play in next week’s game after suffering a concussion during today’s loss to the Cowboys. I’m not sure how anyone knows whether Vick will play or not next week, when its only been a few hours since he was concussed.   var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement...

What Exactly Is A “pretty significant concussion”?

Categories: BREAKING NEWS Eagles News QuarterbacksTags: Danny WatkinsMichael VickNick FolesPhiladelphia EaglesWhen I heard Andy Reid describe Michael Vick’s head injury as “pretty significant concussion”, questions starting popping up in my head.  Why didn’t he just say he’s got a concussion and we’ll have to wait and see whether he passes the tests or not? Redskins prepare for Eagles this week, but will they face Michael Vick or Nick Foles?

As the Washington Redskins (3-6) prepare to face the Philadelphia Eagles (3-6) for week 11 action, the question all week is going to be whether they will be going up against turnover prone Michael Vick or the rookie who would be getting his first career start in Nick Foles. All eyes will be on the Philly practice reports this week. Michael Vick exited last night’s loss against...

Foles had not seen any action prior to this and threw an incomplete pass on his only...

Philadelphia Eagles: 5 Steps To Cleaning Up The Franchise

I'd like to start off by apologizing for my very lengthy absence from writing for Football Nation. I've been very busy with school and personal affairs, but I joined almost 1 year ago (exactly one year on Tuesday, November 13th I believe) and thought I would write a 'One Year Anniversary' article. The Philadelphia Eagles' troubles this year have been very well...

The Worst Thing That Could Possibly Happen for the Redskins in the Eagles Vs. Cowboys Happened

When Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick went down with a concussion this past Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys I’m sure there was a grouping of Redskins fans who let out a cheer. After all, in spite of his dismal play this season (serves him right for declaring the Eagles a dynasty before they had won anything) Vick is still one of those players who can take over a game...

More Talk Of Andy Reid Coaching The Chargers

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that Andy Reid would be interested in coaching the Chargers should he and Norv Turner get fired at some point in the coming months. It’s rare that a head coach who is currently on the seat would have options lined up for him, but Reid is widely respected around the league. There’s been talk that he could end up in Cleveland as well, given...
