When talk around the league about the elite tight ends the names Jimmy Graham, Rob Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez, Vernon Davis, and Antonio Gates and soon to be Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez always come up. However there is one tight end that never quite makes the list. Heath Miller who has had a successful yet modest NFL career always seems to get the short end of the stick in the list of current great NFL tight ends.

Heath Miller for President! Why Not?
Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger mentioned this week that he thinks Steelers’ tight end Heath Miller should be running for president. I couldn’t agree more and here’s why; 1. Miller could easily handle defense issues. Is there another tight end in the league that plows through defenders the way that Heath does? Can you imagine Iran threatening Heath Miller...

Could Jonathan Dwyer be the Future in Pittsburgh?
When Jonathan Dwyer decided to leave Georgia Tech a year early he was considered a top 30 prospect and was at one point ranked the third best running back in his draft class behind C.J. However, after the first four rounds plenty of running backs had been selected, but Dwy ContinueThe post Could Jonathan Dwyer be the Future in Pittsburgh? appeared first on SteelBlitz.
Steelers Injured Player Update Heading Into Weekend
The Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Washington Redskins on Sunday at Heinz Field and now is a good time to like at the list of injured players one by one heading into the game.
Troy Polamalu - It is looking like it could be at least a few more weeks on the sidelines for the Steelers safety as he continues to rest his injured calf. I would be surprised if he is back before the...

Steelers' Colon settling into guard role
Willie Colon emerged from Sunday's win in Cincinnati down more than one of his signature dreadlocks. At least he was unofficially awarded a takedown for a post-whistle body slam of Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict.
It was Colon's kind of game, the perfect coming-out party for the Steelers offensive lineman continuing to settle in to his new position at guard.

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger Clarifies His Remarks, Says 'I Like To Dink-And-Dunk'
When Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger mentioned the offense run by new offensive coordinator Todd Haley was "dink and dunk," many chose to perceive that negatively as opposed to a term to describe a ball-control shorter passing scheme aimed to maintain possession, limit turnovers and maximize a quarterback's ability to use excellent receivers in space.
Many...
Steelers rule Mendenhall out vs. Redskins
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins with an Achilles injury.
