Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Heath Miller will have his number 89 jersey retired Saturday at halftime of the Virgina Maryland game in Charlottesville.
While at Virginia, Miller caught 144 passes for 1703 yards and 20 touchdowns. Miller was originally recruited to play quarterback, but made the transition to the tight end position during his redshirt freshman year.
Miller also was the first player in ACC history to win the Mackey Award as the nation's best tight end in 2004.
Below is an interview with Miller from this past offseason talking about his days at Virginia.
