When Steelers offensive coordinator Bruce Arians implored his unit Wednesday to focus on team goals rather than individual accolades, veteran tight end Heath Miller likely didn't need the reminder. When told that he was five catches away from the Steelers record for tight ends, Miller shrugged his shoulders. "I didn't know that," he said. "It is what it is. I'm sure at some point you can take time to look back and reflect on things, but now is not the time. Hopefully, now we're just focused on winning games at the end of the year. Those things will come as you win." Miller has 324 catches in his career, trailing only Elbie Nickel's 329. His four catches in Week 7 moved him past Franco Harris for sixth place on the all-time Steelers list. After a somewhat slow start, Miller has seen his role in the passing game increase in recent weeks. With the exception of a five-catch showing against Indianapolis in Week 3, he caught three or fewer passes in each of the first five games.

Kemoeatu told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette about the demotion, which will take effect starting with Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Prediction Of Week 12 Steelers Inactives Against The Chiefs
The Steelers are back from their bye week now and ready to take on the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday night at Arrowhead Stadium. The Friday injury report showed 3 players as being questionable and I fully expect all three to be inactive this week. Let's have a look at the injured players and predict the other remaining inactives this week as the Steelers look to move to 8-3 on the...

Steelers SS Ryan Clark Keeping Things In Perspective
Ryan Clark is quick to dust himself off when things go awry. He resists negativity, no matter how dire the situation. Typically, he's the first to remind everyone that football is only a game even when the Steelers fall short as they did in a gut-wrenching loss to rival Baltimore earlier this month. He vividly remembers having to be medically cleared to attend the funeral...
Sanders likely to return Sunday
Like a lot of players, Emmanuel Sanders wants to get into coaching when his playing days end. That does not mean the Steelers wide receiver, who is expected to return this week after missing two games because of knee surgery, is ready to put on a headset.
Keys to Victory: Steelers at Chiefs
The Steelers will face off against the Chiefs tonight and they will have a few things that they need to take care of to get the victory. The Chiefs do not have much on either side of the ball with their 3 best players out for the season. Not having to face Jamaal Charles and Matt Cassel on offense and no Eric Berry on defense the Steelers do not have to contend with much. Here...
Steelers' Arians weighs in on offensive shift
The Steelers offensive coordinator said Doug Legursky has simply played a little better than Chris Kemoeatu, which is why he will start at left guard in Kansas City.
Steelers Don't Expect LB LaMarr Woodley To Play Vs Chiefs
The Pittsburgh Steelers are not counting on LaMarr Woodley to be able to play this weekend against the Kansas City Chiefs, a team source said Friday. The team believes the hamstring injury Woodley sustained Week 8 against the New England Patriots will not keep him out an extended period of time, but any possibility of the linebacker playing this Sunday night is ambitious. Woodley...
Steelers Announce Their Inactive List Vs Chiefs
As expected, Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley will not play Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported. The team later confirmed that Woodley is inactive. NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora reported earlier this week that the Steelers weren't counting on Woodley to play against the Chiefs, though they don't believe the linebacker...
