The New York Giants 2013 season will be a big transitional year for the franchise, because of a lot of unknowns to sort themselves out at various positions. The first unknown is of course the wide receiver position. Victor Cruz has yet to sign an extension and if he doesn’t sign before the season begins, will put a lot of pressure on the Giants’ front office, because of Hakeem...
It’s sounding like Tom Coughlin is reaching his breaking point regarding the Victor Cruz contract situation.
On the very first day of the mandatory mini-camp for the team, the team’s restricted free agent wide receiver was again, a no-show to camp, just like he was for the team’s OTA’s last week, and it’s something Coughlin spoke on Tuesday with reporters.
According to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPNNewYork.com, Giants quarterback Eli Manning told him that he’s texted back and forth with wide receiver Hakeem Nicks and expects him to show up for this week’s minicamp.

At one point, the New York Giants and wide receiver Victor
Cruz were believed to be nearing an agreement on a long-term contract
extension. That no longer appears to be the case, as Ian Rapoport of NFL.com

A big factor for the success of the 2013 New York Giants will be how the running game dictates the Giants offense. Ahmad Bradshaw became a cut casualty due to his inability to stay healthy and his base salary affecting the ability for general manager Jerry Reese to remain under an air-tight salary cap. Bradshaw will forever be remembered as one of the toughest Giants of recent times...
It's silly season across the NFL and one Hall of Fame great his making headlines by ranking his top five quarterbacks in today's league via twitter. Find out if Eli Manning is deserving of this lofty status.

On Tuesday morning, we at Giants 101 talked about the impending release or trade of fullback Vonta Leach by the Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens, which ended up happening.
With the New York Giants’ current starting fullback Henry Hynoski recovering from knee surgery last month, we talked about the possibility of the Giants looking into Leach, especially since the team has...
I have stated all offseason that I didn't think free agent running back Ahmad Bradshaw would be a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2013, and now you can forget all about it possibly happening as Adam Schefter of ESPN reports Tuesday on Twitter that the former member of the New York Giants agreed to a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts.
The biggest drawback to the upcoming Super Bowl in New York Jersey is the inevitable bellyaching of sportswriters denied their annual vacation to a warm weather destination in the middle of winter. I’d wager most of them are rooting for the event to be a disaster just so no city other than Miami, San Diego, Phoenix or New Orleans ever gets hosting rights ever again. Never mind...
