Yea know...I wouldnt be suprized if Lito goes out there, stays healthy and performes at his high level that at some point the Eagles come to an agreement with Sheppard. They know how valuable he is and they know what he brings to this defense. If they wanted him out of here they would of gotten ride of him a long time ago. If hes careful about what he says to the vulture media people he might be a part of a dominating defence for many more years. How great would it be to have Lito, Sheldon and Asante for the next couple of years......wow

Yeah this game is all about the money!!! Lito is gonna go out this season and be a F***ing beast....for the simple fact that this year could determine his future in the NFL!!! Be it with the Eagles or with another team!!! I mean if he plays well enough this season and stays healthy showing the Eagles (and any other team for that matter) that he truly is (which I highly agree with) one of the best in the league then he is golden next season!!! The Eagles will either pay him, therefore giving us the best trio of CBs in the league, or they trade (key word trade) him to a team, for a very very valuable player. So Like Lito said he is playing for himself!!!! Which either way is a big plus for the Eagles!!!

sheppard just does'nt get it, he's not going to start before assante. i think he will get alot of play time this season when teams run 3 recievers. sheppard does'nt get as many turnovers as someone like assante would, and thats what our defense needs. sheppard should sit back be quiet and enjoy the road to tampa.

Well if asked, I would tell Lito,"17 picks since 2002, and 16 picks in 2006-2007. What would you do?" He should be civil and play well, if he wants to get a contract extention

How long what lasts? Hes been unhappy since March...this is NOTHING NEW! Hes going about it professionally, playing hard when hes in and doing his job. Hes not speaking out to the media or trying to draw attention. If you stick enough mics and annoying reporters in his face, stuff like this is going to come out. Blame the media not Lito...hes doing his job and they're trying way to hard to do theirs.

I agree. He's not doing anything terrible. He's performed professionally to this point. There's no reason to believe that should stop. You don't have to be happy at your job - just good.
