For the second consecutive day, starting right guard Anthony Herrera did not participate after suffering a concussion in the Seattle game. Herrera said before Wednesday's practice that he would play at Arizona, but his status appears to be more uncertain now after having missed the heaviest days of practice. The Vikings are fortunate, though, to have veteran Artis Hicks, who stepped in for Herrera against Chicago. Eight players Vikings players were listed as limited in Thursday's practice: cornerback Benny Sapp (thumb/ribs), safety Eric Frampton (concussion), left tackle Bryant McKinnie (back), tight end Visanthe Shiancoe (ribs), fullback Naufahu Tahi (ankle), running back Chester Taylor (ribs), cornerback Antoine Winfield (foot) and left guard Steve Hutchinson (shoulder).
