Starting right guard Anthony Herrera said he feels fine now and that he will play against Chicago.
Of course, Herrera doesn't have the final call regarding whether he has recovered sufficiently from his concussion that kept him sidelined Sunday against Chicago. The medical staff and athletic trainers must evaluate him.
But Herrera's optimism and belief that he will play speaks to how much better he's feeling.
"I'm good," he said. "Everything's smooth."
This is the second concussion Herrera has suffered. He had one in college.
Asked about his remarks Tuesday during an interview on SIRIUS NFL Radio that it's important to put your health first, Herrera declined to elaborate.
"You saw the transcript," he said. "I don't want to make anything bigger than what it is."
Herrera said during the radio interview that Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Hines Ward is being selfish for questioning Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisber...
