HERE'S AN EXCERT FROM AN ARTICLE THAT FAT PHUCK'S PUPPET SPUDARO WROTE ON THE EAGLES WEBSITE!!!! EXPECT NOT TOO MANY CHANGES FROM LAST YEAR!!! EXPECT SEE THE CRUTCH BRIGADE, THE SAME OLE , UNDER ACHIEVERS, SAME OLD DO NOTHIN'S!!! MAYBE HE'S BEEN POPPING THE SAME PILLS HIS KIDS WERE SMUGGLING IN JAIL!!!!!! MAYBE WE'LL GET SOME ONE FROM FAT PHUCK'S SUMMER MORMON CAMP!!!! ( HOW ABOUT DONNY OSMOND OR MAYBE MARIE THEY CAN RUN BETTER ROUTES THAN REGGIE CLOWN)!!! On the pool of free agents upcoming and the ability to get better immediately: "There are going to be good players out there. It narrows down, but there will be players out there whether it's through the draft or in free agency. I'll tell you what we've done, and it's a tribute to Joe (Banner) and Howie (Roseman, Vice President of Football Administration), we've maintained a lot of players here through contracts. That is a positive thing. We can go out and compete this next year without signing anybody and win a lot of football games. We can compete for a championship. But we'll keep our eyes open." On the success of free agency: "I don't think it's bad to add a guy here or there, but the last three Super Bowl winners have signed one guy, and that was a kicker (Adam Vinatieri, Colts). The success rate of free agency has not been tremendous. I think you have to be selective on who you bring in and not get caught thinking the grass is greener on the other side and bring a guy in that you get so enthralled with. Then you see him and he's not all that and one of your guys is better, one of your young guys who you developed."

  • i just spit my coffee out over that pic LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • i knew you'd like that ck!!!
  • Let's face it-they're not going to tell us anything. And Spudaro says what he's TOLD to say.
    And the suspense builds....
  • same ol B.S. that guy is Andy's flunky !

They better start playing and stop playing around, everyones getting ANOTHER season older !

    Coochie Coochie Cooooo

  • If we don't at least make a couple of moves in free agency this off season and we have the same players as last year doing the same thing that they did last year. Andy Reid is going to be out of a job. I support Donovan and believe in the players we have, but there are missing pieces. If the Eagles coaches, front office, and players can't see that, then they really have more issues than any of us could have ever imagined. Let's hope Andy is just trying to keep things that they are working on a surprise until next week. If not, god help us.
  • I read that yesterday and it made me sick to my stomach....I hope this is just a PLOY by senor fat boy....
  • you know, this is bullshit, first of all why is it that our front office acts like they're the goddam bush administration with all the secrets, lies and cover-up shit (spadaro), i mean ya, this article is probably true, we probably wont do anything, im guessing well go after dj hackett and thats about it, forget about hall or asante, forget about fitz and all those big name receivers, the only difference between this year and next is mcnabb will be healthier and we might not have kearse, congratulations front office, you won, well be 9-7 this year and probably will lose in the first round of the playoffs-awesome
  • it's sad that the f.o. still has post traumatic stress syndrome over T.O. !!! hey FAT PHUCK instead of saying they only added a kicker how about this the last time we were invited to the dance we had T.O. a playmaker!!!! that's only one player!!! you like the draft so much then draft a dude that can actually do something!!! you like drafting players so that you can be the end all be all to them!!!! it really must not take much to your playbook which is old!!! they can learn how to mismanage a clock, how not to run the ball!!! everyone knows what your gonna do!!! we as fans do so what makes you think d-coordinaters of other teams don't know!!!
  • the thing about free agency is that 90% of the time you are paying a lot more money for a player that the original team didn;t think was worth keeping. Not all the time, but a lot of the time. The eagles with sign Asante and that's probably it in free agency. Briggs will do to sanfran and micheal turner will go to Chicago.
  • On how ready the Eagles are for the offseason ahead: "There has been a lot of time spent, and we had a lot of time with the way the season ended without the playoffs, and we've been in there and as we go day by day here, players are being taken off the board in free agency as they are tagged. However, we feel very good about the process we've gone through, we feel very good about the players that are still out there as of today and we look forward to getting the free-agency period started. Not that we're going to go hog wild, I think history has shown us that that is not really the way to go. But adding a guy here or there is OK
That isnt a bad thing at all...i like what hes saying, we dont need to go out and get every single guy in the FA pool. We need a few guys just a few good moves and we are back to an elite team. You see every guy go to FA like crumpler moss briggs samuel berrian possibly javon walker you hear trade rumors like chad johnson and larry fitzgerald and of course every single fan base of every team wants every one of those guys...but what the fans (especially eagles fans) dont know is that the core part of a team needs to stay and add some skill players like a big time wideout and a D-End or D-back and you have a team who can compete....the eagles have a great team with a few missing pieces they arent the lions who need a whole D and O line and much much more....we just need to add two or three free agents and build through the draft and we will be elite next year.
  • i like what you said and i definitely agree birdsfan536, we certainly are not far off from a championship with this team, were just short of a no. 1 wideout, another man qb eating de and a playmaking cb, nice post!
