Redskins Insider:
Offensive tackle Stephon Heyer, who moved to the left side of the line to replace an injured Chris Samuels earlier this month, is now ailing himself. He was wearing a knee brace Tuesday at Redskins Park, and Coach Jim Zorn said he "stretched a ligament in his knee." Zorn is hoping that, by the time the team reports to practice next Monday, Heyer will be healthy enough to play. In case he isn't, recently-added lineman Levi Jones says he'll be ready to go. Jones was signed last Tuesday and had less than a week to prepare for the Eagles. He was limited and used sparingly Monday night. "You can never, in a week, be up to the speed to what players have been all through training camp," Jones said Tuesday, "but I feel like I'll be ready to go."
