Redskins Insider:
The Redskins have been busy today addressing their restricted free agents, and we can now add another to the list. Redskins tackle Stephon Heyer was given a second-round tender today, according to league sources. Heyer, who just completed his third season, is slated to become a restricted free agent when free agency begins at midnight Friday. Though he battled knee injuries, he started all 16 games last season for the Redskins and has been a regular starter since joining the team as an undrafted free agent in 2007. To recap, others who've received second-round tenders today: linebacker Rocky McIntosh, safety Reed Doughty and defensive tackle Kedric Golston.
