Raiders receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey injured his hamstring in practice on Wednesday.Fantasy Spin:He sat out on Thursday and is expected to be listed as questionable when the injury reports come out later this week. Oakland is playing New Orleans on Sunday.

Dennis Allen is the 18th head coach for the Oakland Raiders, but in his first year, his 3-6 team is struggling. However, before he landed in Oakland, and prior to Allen being with the Denver Broncos in 2011, he learned his trade in New Orleans as a defensive backs coach.

The Oakland Raiders have signed linebacker Omar Gaither and placed linebacker Travis Goethel on season-ending injured reserve.
The team announced the move Wednesday to add depth after Goethel tore the ACL in his left knee in last week's loss in Baltimore.
