Right, so we pretty much covered this Sunday, I think, but a win is a much needed win, and we'll take 17-13 just as welcomingly as 30-13. The reality is, with the Bengals somehow figuring out how to play football, and the Ravens continuing to put the NFL in its place (gotta admit, they're doing their jobs), every game is going to be a must-win. Granted, every game is a must-win either way, particulary if you're a Steeler fan. But as usual, the AFC North is shaping up to be a race to the finish. The good news is 4-2 ain't half bad. I mean, only four teams in the entire league have more than four wins right now. So, never fear, Steeler nation. Things might continue to seem chaotic for a little while, but as long as we keep finding ways, we'll keep finding wins. If you will it, dude, it is no dream, as the great Walter Sobchak would say (if you don't know that reference, you should probably look it up). Getting back to OFTOT's bread and butter here (ie - sch...

Report: Troy Polamalu Handed Phone By Steelers Team Physician
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk is suggesting that Steelers safety Troy Polamalu might be fined for talking on a cell phone on the sideline following him leaving the game with concussion-like symptoms. According to Alex Holmes, Polamalu's brother-in-law, the phone was handed to him by the Steelers team physician and that there is no way that he gets fined by the league. As far...
Polamalu could be facing huge fine
Apparently after Troy Polamalu was pulled from yesterday’s game with concussion like symptoms he was recorded using a cell phone on the sidelines. Using a cell phone is strictly prohibited by the NFL and Profootballtalk.com is reporting that it could be in the range of a $25,000 to $30,000 fine. Though Steeler’s Depot is reporting that it was handed to him by the...
The Pittsburgh Steelers must play with more urgency in the upcoming weeks
If you had told me at the beginning of the season the Steelers would be 4-2 after six games that included road battles at Baltimore, Indy, and Houston to start the season, I think I would be happy with that. But it is the fashion in which the Steelers have jumped out to its 4-2 start that has many fans scratching their heads.People want to pinpoint a singular issue that is causing...
Steelers S Troy Polamalu sidelined with concussion
The Pittsburgh Steelers removed All-Pro safety Troy Polamalu from the game in the fourth quarter of a 17-13 victory over Jacksonville on Sunday after Polamalu sustained "concussion-like symptoms."
Steelers Jaguars Week 6 Offensive Line Breakdown Report
It is that time again as I have now finished the offensive line breakdown from the week 6 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. While the first half was not perfect, it was above average and the offense as a whole seemed to have good rhythm and jump early on. The second half was a different story. I kind of relate it to a NASCAR driver saying he had a great car until the engine...

Steelers SS Troy Polamalu Passes Concussion Test, Should Play Vs. Cardinals
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin says All-Pro safety Troy Polamalu should be "good to go" for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals after passing a concussion test. The Steelers removed Polamalu for the final two defensive series of a 17-13 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars with concussion-like symptoms. The team did it as a precaution after Polamalu took a knee to...
Polamalu passes concussion test
Steelers safety Troy Polamalu left Sunday’s game against the Jaguars with concussion-like symptoms. On Tuesday, Polamalu reportedly passed a concussion test. Even though he didn’t have a concussion. (Actually, the team now concedes it was a “mild” concussion.) Coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that Polamalu is “good to go” for Sunday at Arizona...
Video: Hines Ward teaches Polamalu and Keisel to dance
Hines Ward brought his "Dancing With The Stars" talents to the Pittsburgh Steelers locker room for a taping of a viral video that partnered him in a cha-cha dance with teammates Troy Polamalu and Brett Keisel.
Polamalu pays homage to his American Samoan descent with some taualaga-like hip-shaking, while Keisel -- well, I'm not really sure what Keisel is doing other...
Steelers hold off pesky Jaguars
Rashard Mendenhall ran for a season-high 146 yards and a touchdown and the Steelers narrowly avoided a second-half collapse in a 17-13 over Jacksonville on Sunday.
