Another week, another player with off-the-field issues is brought in by Rex Ryan ad the New York Jets.  This time it’s Santonio Holmes from the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Listen, I am not going to sugarcoat it – the addition of Holmes and Antonio Cromartie this offseason make the Jets look very formidable on paper. However, lets stop planning the parade through the Canyon of Heroes.  I would not go as far as naming them the favorites in the AFC East.  Sure, they win a game against the Patriots next year but until they actually dethrone the Pats, this is nothing more than a nice offseason for a historically mediocre NFL franchise. In addition, Super Bowl rings are not won in April.  No matter how many players the Jets add, their success is going to come down to the development of Mark Sanchez.  I have said since the Jets drafted Sanchez last year that he would be a bust in the NFL.  He has been glorified as the savior of New York after one season but for those saying that, hav...
