Some quick thoughts from this game:Remember when the Colt Brennan threw three complete passes in last preseason and convinced us beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was the best quarterback that no one had ever seen yet? His degree will get him work outside of football, right?Marko Mitchell has been BETTER through two games than Chris Horton was last year. If I recall, that worked out pretty well for Predator 48, did it not??There should be some legitimate concern about the coverage. As good as the Redskins were against top running games last year, they were torched against the pass. The trend has continued so far this year. I was worried that D-Hall might be a weak link on this team, now I'm just worried that there might be a problem despite his strong play. The middle of the field is way too wide open against this defense. At least contest the pass guys.Chase Daniel was, in my opinion, a better college quarterback than Colt, so I'm not shocked by his performance. With that said, he's still 6'0", and against longer odds than people realize.Brennan's tackle after the interception probably saved the game for the Redskins. The guy has a good presence about him, if nothing else.A second immaculate reception? Not so much. Video has improved since then.If there's only one thing that every fan should take away from this game, it's that the Redskins are both deeper and better on both the offensive and defensive lines than last year's world champs. They do have a ways to go before they have either an effective offense or an effective defense, but they are flying around on defenseSomeone find a spot on this team for Lendy Holmes.
