During the preseason Trindon Holliday was the best returner in the game. He looked as if he was going to be something special as he scored three touchdowns.  Today the Broncos claimed KR Trindon Holliday off waivers from the Texans and waived S Duke Ihenacho. Holliday was struggling before being waived by the Texans, but the Broncos have gotten similarly limited production from rookie Omar Bolden. Holliday should get a 2-3 week tryout and if he performs he will be a solid pick up.

Some, quite frankly, are awful, where others do a great job. With Manning being the only constant...

Even at 2-3 Broncos doing just fine

Denver, CO. The gauntlet of the early season schedule continued on Sunday, as it was another game where the Denver Broncos and their fans could gauge where this team is at and where they may be headed. Facing the Patriots on the road is no picnic for any team, but it was another test for a Denver squad who has already had their fair share of tests in the first month of the...

Broncos turnover differential again becoming problem

Denver, CO. The NFL is full of stats, as anything and everything that happens on the gridiron is tracked without fail. Numbers rule this game, and many times it is these numbers that explain why a given team is not living up to expectations, or on the other hand, why another given team is surprising everyone and getting the job done. A lot of the stats truly do end up being somewhat...

Broncos Injury Report: Keith Brooking Suffers Concussion

The Denver Broncos suffered one key injury during Sunday’s loss to the New England Patriots. Veteran linebacker Keith Brooking sustained a concussion in the third quarter and was not able to return. It’s not clear if Brooking will be available this weekend or when he’ll be able to return, as he’ll have to first pass the National Football League’s concussion tests...

Broncos' Bailey: Rivers has earned right to yap

Philip Rivers still yaps as much now on the field as he did when he first drew Champ Bailey's ire five years ago. The difference now is that Bailey believes he's earned the right. ''Back then, he was talking when he shouldn't have. I think he hadn't earned his respect around the league at that point,'' Bailey said. ''But now it's a different...

Broncos-Chargers Preview

Save for one shaky performance, Peyton Manning has done most everything the Denver Broncos expected when they signed him to a lucrative deal in the offseason. He can't do much if Denver can't hang onto the football, though. Manning hopes his rough recent history versus the host San Diego Chargers doesn't play a role when the turnover-prone Broncos look to even the division...
