Week nine might shape up to be a halfway decent weekend of football. Don’t even bother watching tonight’s AFC West train-wreck. These two teams are becoming the laughing stock of the NFL and the losing coach literally might get fired on the way out of the stadium. If Norv Turner loses at home to the lowly Chiefs he has to get fired, right? We’re taking the Chargers -7. Yes, the Chiefs are that bad.
On Sunday, give us the Panthers +3.
As for Monday night, this game is a complete toss up. How can you bet with any confidence on the Saints or the Eagles? Both teams are just screaming inconsistency. Right when you think the Saints have things turned around, they get smoked by Peyton and the Broncos. Andy Reid and Michael Vick are playing for their jobs so look for some added enthusiasm from the Eagles. If we had to pick one of them, we’d lean towards the Saints -3, but we’d avoid this game at all costs.
