After months of hearing people talk about TJ Houshmandzadeh, I consistently made the argument that they were making a mountain out of a molehill. Sure, he talks a bit of trash, but that's just "swagger," that's healthy for the team. Yeah, I want my stud wide-out to predict a pro-bowl, a playoff run, top five numbers. I like that, it's good for the team and its fun for the fans. Sure, he could've kept his mouth shut about the Madden rating, but come on, that was blown way out of proportions.
I'm starting to change my tune.
I had never been a proponent of the Hawks bringing Houshmandzadeh in, but when he was in Seattle and nearly signing I got star struck and decided it was a great thing. I still think it may be a good thing, but Mr. "Trust Me, I'm Underrated" needs to keep his damn mouth shut when it comes to talking about in-game performance and his team.
