The Houston Texans went into the last week of the season with a chance to wrap up the #1 seed in the playoffs in the AFC and make sure that they never had to leave the confines of Reliant Stadium throughout the playoffs. All they had to do is win against the Indianapolis Colts, a divisional team that the Texans faced just 2 weeks ago and beat. The Texans couldn’t do it though, they started the game slow and never really recovered as Andrew Luck and the Colts beat them 28-16 on Sunday in the emotional return of  Colts head coach Chuck Pagano. The game was the 1st game back since starting leukemia treatments earlier this season. Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano, left, talks to Houston Texans Andre Johnson following the game. Not going to sugar coat this one people, the Texans had some serious issues on offense and on special teams on Sunday. The offense moved the ball, but couldn’t get points out of any of their drives most of the game. Looking at the Texans stats on the off...

Texans' Johnson looks to build on best season

HOUSTON (AP) -- Houston's Andre Johnson heard the whispers he'd lost a step and that he'd never again be an elite receiver as he struggled through the worst season of his career in 2011. He didn't let it get him down. Johnson used it as motivation, and bounced back this year with a career-high 1,598 yards receiving. Now he's looking to do more as the Texans...

Colts' Luck wants to make most of 1st playoff game

(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated. With AP Photos.) By MICHAEL MAROT AP Sports Writer Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is growing up. His completion percentage has taken a hit over the past few weeks and his quarterback rating is nowhere close to what he would like. But after averaging more than one interception per game through the first 15 weeks of the season, the No. 1 overall draft...

Rookie QB Andrew Luck Faces Aging Ravens in Case of Old Vs. New

Something's got to give with the Colts have a multitude of young emerging stars on offense, and the Ravens are led by aging future Hall-of-Famers on defense.

Indy needs playoff newcomers to get past Ravens

Andrew Luck has been reminded all week about the playoff perils for rookie quarterbacks. He won't be the only Colts player experiencing the NFL's postseason tournament for the first time Sunday in Baltimore. Indianapolis ha 28 players making playoff debuts, and they aren't just all the usual suspects, either. Luck and the most productive offensive rookies, in terms...

Indianapolis Colts: AFC Wild Card Power Rankings (#12)

The Colts shocked the world this year, going from 2 wins to 11 wins and the 5 seed in the AFC. However, they haven’t been as good as their record. They enter the postseason at -30 in points differential (the worst ever by an 11+ win team). This because they have just 2 wins by more than a touchdown and 4 losses, including 3 losses by 20 or more. They are 11-5 by virtue of their...

It comes down to health: A rejuvenated Ravens team should beat a banged-up Colts team...

Everyone's talking about the Andrew Luck factor and the Chuck Pagano variable in this one, but I think the Ravens have trumped all of that with their intelligent rationing of the physical health of their best players. The Ravens therefore should crush the visiting Colts on Wild Card Weekend...           Realistically Andrew Luck and the Colts...

Full Court Press: Ranking Every Possible Super Bowl Matchup 1-36, Female Fighters You’d Date, Paulina Gretzky Rings in the New Year Right

Click on the photo to read more about possible Super Bowl Matchups I actually disagree with a lot of this list. I would like to see the Colts win for Pagano, but seeing RG III matchup with Andrew Luck doesn’t really do anything for me. I’d much rather see Rodgers vs. Brady or something of the sort. We here at Unathletic are pulling for Pagano and the Colts. The Press 6 Female...

The Good, The Bad, and The Exposed: Colts Edition 2

It seems nothing has been going right for the Houston Texans, and to make matters worse the playoffs start on Saturday. The Texans have had ample opportunities to right the ship, but due to lack of focus, discipline, and bad execution the Texans have been their own worst enemy. Gary Kubiak has his hands full going into the postseason, and the Bengals who are hot are coming back to...
