HOUSTON TEXANS: MOST PRESSING OFFSEASON NEEDS By Lou Lando The Houston Texans completed their most successful season in their short ten-year history. They reached the Playoffs for the first time, eventually bowing out in the second week of the postseason after losing to the Baltimore Ravens. If star players Matt Schaub, Andre Johnson and Mario Williams had not missed a large slab of the season, the Texans could have considered themselves a real darkhorse in making a big run to the Super Bowl. No doubt the Texans have a lot to be encouraged about heading into the offseason and many will consider them as one of the leading contenders for the 2012 season. Still, in the NFL world of parity where depth charts are stretched to their limit, no team is without needs and areas that need to be improved to ensure a team takes that next step.
