I think everybody would agree with me on the team. If you don’t have that goal, it’s like a defeatist mindset.”
Now begins not only the quest for a Super Bowl for the Texans as a whole, but also the individual position battles that will ultimat...

Texans OLB Barwin looks to build on big year
Connor Barwin arrived at training camp sporting a Gary Kubiak-replica haircut, a flat-topped crew cut.
The Texans coach says wryly that Barwin's hairstyle is ''something to talk about for a few days.''
Barwin can probably get away with playfully mocking Kubiak as long as he keeps producing on the field. The 6-foot-4, 268-pound outside linebacker had a breakout...

James brings vet presence to young defense
HOUSTON For some, the trading of veteran linebacker DeMeco Ryans to the Eagles on March 20 was a haphazard disregard of not only one of the more popular players in franchise history, but a defensive stalwart.
Never mind that Ryans was slowed by a preseason elbow injury and the rebuilt Achilles' tendon that sidelined him in 2010, or that he wasn't an ideal fit in the new...

The Texans are in full swing at training camp and here are three of their biggest offense stars getting warmed up. Problem is AJ already has a slight strain in his groin and will be held out. It may be minor, but is a big reason I’m holding off on him this season.
