3.33 Houston Texans Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU (6-3, 262)
Montgomery is a solid run-stopping defensive end, who can step in on early down situations right away. He does have a tougher time maintaining his balance and tends to get pushed around when it comes to pass rushing. He could develop into a three-down player, but it’ll take a couple years to get there. The Texans have decent depth on the D-line, so he should get a chance to showcase his strengths on the field right away. It’s always scary when the 7th ranked rush defense gets a boost.

Houston Texans running back Arian Foster gave the team quite a scare when he was carted off the field during OTAs with a calf injury.
The initial feeling after he was checked out was that the injury wasn’t serious at all. It has come forth that it’s serious enough that the zen-like featured back/actor will skip all activities until training camp starts.

Houston Texans defensive end Antonio Smith made it known to media that he wants to retire with the team, but that would take a contract extension for the 31-year-old defensive end. The nine-year veteran is entering his 5th season in Houston and the last year of his current contract. His current contract has a $9.5 million dollar cap hit after he signed with the Texans in 2009 a 5...

The end of the second week and the 6th OTA workout for the Houston Texans, the team ended the session on a high note. The players seem to have an extra gear in their step when the weekend approaches and today was no different. The weather was good once again with a strong breeze for the players not to melt in the Houston heat.
One of the good signs is the rust coming off of the offense...
The great thing about the NFL is that there are so many positions that every year, there is almost always at least one player who has a breakout year on every team, no matter how good or bad the team is. This is one part in a 32 part segment detailing one potential breakout player (rookies don’t count) for the 2013 NFL season on each NFL team. For the New York Giants, that player...
3.27 Houston Texans Brennan Williams, OT, North Carolina (6-6, 318)
Williams is a tall tackle, one that should spend his time in the NFL on the right side. His size certainly helps him out, but he may lack the talent to be a starting tackle at the NFL level. As with the case with a lot of taller players, he tends to play straight up and fail to move his feet, which results in lapses...

Texans Expect to Have the Bulls on Parade Come February
One of the great things about the off-season is that every team can claim they have a chance to make the post season and even make a run at the Super Bowl. Few can honestly say that they have what it takes. According to Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt Houston is one of those teams.
“We won another division...
