For the first time in nearly six months, the Houston Texans took the field as a team in an official practice to prep for the upcoming 2012 campaign. The approx. 5,000 in attendance witnessed the team’s first double session of the new season, a grueling full practice in the morning followed by a lighter walk-through type practice indoors in the afternoon. Numerous things stood out in Day 1, particularly the injury status of a few key guys and the play of several rookies, and position battles.

Both looked sharp in their first football action together in over ten months, completing several passes during team drills. Following the first practice, both players noted that neither of them felt any pain rela...

Tier 1: The Elite
1. Arian Foster
2. LeSean McCoy
3. Ray Rice
Who I want the most: LeSean McCoy. I love Arian Foster. I love Ray Rice. But like last year, I really love LeSean McCoy. And after these guys, well, let's just say the running backs are a crap-shoot. These are hands down the elite, the most proven, and the closest to a surefire running back you will get this...
HOUSTON For some, the trading of veteran linebacker DeMeco Ryans to the Eagles on March 20 was a haphazard disregard of not only one of the more popular players in franchise history, but a defensive stalwart.
Never mind that Ryans was slowed by a preseason elbow injury and the rebuilt Achilles' tendon that sidelined him in 2010, or that he wasn't an ideal fit in the new...
With all the talent that comes out of Texas and goes on to become professional football players for various teams I began to think about the two professional teams we have now. I wondered if I could create an “Ultimate Texas Team” consisted of nothing but professional football players that are currently playing who would I pick? Well, seeing how we only have two professional...
We do the 2 step to warm up Juan…
The Texans are in full swing at training camp and here are three of their biggest offense stars getting warmed up. Problem is AJ already has a slight strain in his groin and will be held out. It may be minor, but is a big reason I’m holding off on him this season.
