Found July 17, 2013 on Total Titans:
After part one covering roughly the first half of the season yesterday, it's time to cover how the Titans intercepted opposing passers in the second half of the season. I'll then say some things about what I just wrote may or may not mean when it comes to 2013's prospects for getting interceptions.   Standard disclaimers apply in spades to this analysis. I do not know the offensive or defensive call on any particular play. For these breakdowns, I'm concentrating on the things I saw that I perceived as important to why the interception happened. There may be other interesting things happening on the play that I don't write about, as well as things relating to the interception I don't see and therefore am not including in my analysis. I don't know what a player was thinking on any given play, and I haven't tried asking them either. These are my takes, as informed as I can make them, but not definitive explanations of What Actually Happened. ...

Johnson will smoke this cigar if Titans win SB

The Tennessee Titans are a long way from reaching the Super Bowl, but that hasn’t stopped running back Chris Johnson from picking out his victory cigar in the small case that the team pulls off a miracle run next season. “I’m smoking that if we win the Super Bowl the whole cigar,” Johnson wrote on [...]

Chris Johnson jokes he’ll smoke giant cigar if Titans win Super Bowl

Titans RB Chris Johnson is known as much for his lofty predictions as he is his blazing speed. In 2010 the Tennessee speedster predicted he would rush for 2,500 yards a year after hitting 2,006, but came up way short, finishing the year with 1,364 yards. Earlier this year he proclaimed that the 2013 NFL season would be the one in which he breaks Eric Dickerson’s single season rushing...

Chris Johnson Will Not Have To Worry About Smoking This 2-Foot Cigar

It is a very good thing that the Tennessee Titans are poised to be a not-so-good team this year, or Chris Johnson may regret posting this challenge on his Instagram account. Johnson posted a photo of a monster cigar which looks to be about two feet long with the caption reading “I’m smoking that if we win the Super Bowl the whole cigar.” The Titans definitely improved this...

Delanie Walker and veteran tight end receiving breakouts

Delanie Walker has talked this offseason about how he could have up to 70 catches. When I tried to project catches for the Titans, I had him at 45. Even that more modest figure, that would be the first time he's had even 30 catches, let alone 40. 2013 will be Walker's eighth season in the NFL. Just how rare a feat would having 45 catches be for that kind of player? ...

Chris Johnson To Light a Big One if They Win the Big One

Tennessee Titans Chris Johnson always sets lofty goals. In the past, his main focus would be to lead the NFL in rushing, eclipsing the 2,000 yard mark was always his main objective. Now he’s got some different motivational techniques “I’m smoking that if we win the Super Bowl the whole cigar,” Johnson wrote on Instagram this week. I like how he’s so Blunt. I’m not...
