Falcons training camp kicks off on Thursday July 25th and all still seems to be quiet on the contract front with Matt Ryan. Will the Falcons get a deal done before the season or will they go the Joe Flacco route and wait until after the season? It's a big question.
So just how good is Matt Ryan? It's a question that comes up often and Matty Ice took one step towards being thought of as one of the top QBs in the league last year when he won his first playoff game.
Earlier this week, Football Perspective posted an article about which QBs were the most effective on third down in 2012. Would it surprise you that this article listed Ryan as the third best QB in the league on third down behind only Payton Manning and Tom Brady? Not bad company, not bad at all.
