Outside linebacker Jarrett Johnson is one of the toughest, most durable players in franchise history, and is finally getting his due. Johnson has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for week four. He’s the third Ravens linebacker in the first four weeks of the season to win the award, following Terrell Suggs and Ray [...]
Ravens players were pleasantly surprised when head coach John Harbaugh gave them the week off during the bye week. Harbaugh found that getting healthy was more important than a few extra days of practice. With our numbers, we just didn’t see a way to put together a viable practice. Our rehab is more important. We think the practices really would have done us more harm than they...

Drop the Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman and Sandra Bullock Oscar-prop a Twitter line at @michaeloher if you can help. If, in fact, "who was Steve Jobs" was a question and not a meta declarative statement. More »
BALTIMORE - Rex Ryan left the Ravens in January 2009 for the chance to be a head coach, yet echoes of his tenure in Baltimore remain.
And not so much from his rather loud mouth, although if one listened hard enough, perhaps a few of his words still reverberate through the Ravens' complex.
Ryan left his mark with his defensive philosophies during his four years as coordinator...
