It isn't getting any better for Brandon Weeden, especially after he launched this pass last week against the Lions: The Cleveland Browns were having a bit of a renaissance when Brian Hoyer took over, but the offense is inept, once again, now that Weeden is back in a starting role. The team is back in the Tanking for Teddy sweepstakes, but one fan in the Cleveland area is willing to try anyone different at this point. He took out an ad on Craigslist, and it is fantastic.Read more →

Nothing to see here, just a kid slamming a beer at a Cleveland Browns tailgate (pic)

Here’s a photo of a kid approximately toddler-age appearing to enjoy a cold one during a recent Cleveland Browns tailgating party. Somebody must have just told him that Brandon Weeden is remaining the team’s starting quarterback. While there is no way for certain to confirm that the beer can this youngster is holding and tipping […]The post Nothing to see here, just a kid slamming...

How bad is Brandon Weeden? He is ranked 33rd in T.Q.R. with a 28.6 rating. Browns fans deserve better.

The Cleveland Browns continue to disappoint their fans by starting Brandon Weeden one of the worse quarterbacks in the NFL. Weeden is ranked at 33rd in ESPN’s total quarterback ranking. He continues to make the same rookie mistakes you would expect from a guy whose football I.Q. is less than acceptable to play in the NFL. The Browns have the talent on the team to contend in the...

Browns fans already giving up on Weeden, his job was put on Craigslist

Brandon Weeden returned to the game after Brian Hoyer was injured during the Buffalo Bills Thursday night game. Well after leading the Browns to a win against Buffalo and losing a game last week against Detroit it seems at least one fan has given up on him. That fan is 22 year old Seth Pae […]

Cleveland Browns Fan Posts ‘Quarterback Wanted’ Craigslist Ad, Says ‘If You Can Throw a Ball, Come Apply’

Brandon Weeden just isn’t cutting it in Cleveland in the minds of some fans. The Browns seemed to have some semblance of a shot this season, but one fan has grown impatient with the team’s quarterback, so that fan has taken to the best place to find whatever random thing you are looking for — Craigslist — in search of a new signal caller. Weeden has a 71.4 passer rating and...

Struggling quarterback Brandon Weeden threw an ugly interception that sealed the Browns' fate against Detroit last week.

Browns OL Joe Thomas: ‘Brandon Weeden can Lead Us to Playoffs’

It appeared that the Browns had given up on the 2013 season after an 0-2 start and trading RB Trent Richardson to the Colts.  Then Brian Hoyer came along and led the Browns to consecutive wins before he was injured in a Thursday night game vs. the Bills.  Brandon Weeden, who was the starter, came in the game and led the Browns to victory and first place in the AFC North. Despite...

Turner has seen better QBs throw worse interceptions than Weeden

These words actually left our mouth the other day: "The Browns' season went down with Brian Hoyer." We weren't kidding either. After leading Cleveland to two straight wins Hoyer suffered a torn ACL against the Bills in Week 5 paving the way for the return of Brandon Weeden the team's 2012 first-round pick who has been to put it kindly underwhelming. In last...

Browns QB Hoyer has knee surgery

Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer has had successful surgery on his right knee. Hoyer had the operation on Friday at the Cleveland Clinic to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament. A team spokesman said the surgery went well and that the 28-year-old Hoyer is expected to make a full recovery. Hoyer led the Browns to two wins after replacing injured starter Brandon Weeden. Hoyer got...

NFL Fines Detroit Lions Ndamukong Suh For Hit On Brandon Weeden

The NFL has fined Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh yet again, this time $31,500 for a hit that he put on Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden. Ironically, the Lions were not penalized in last Sunday’s victory over the fine-worthy play. Being a disruptive character for the first few years of his career, he has brought a much deserved, yet almost unfair watch from...

NFL VP trying to get Ndamukong Suh's attention

The man who hands out fines for the NFL admits he's trying to get Ndamukong Suh's attention. Suh was fined for a second time this season on Wednesday, $31,500 for striking Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden with his helmet. NFL vice president of operations Merton Hanks said Friday in a spot on “Total Access” on NFL Network that he wanted to get Suh’s...

NFL reviewing Ndamukong Suh's hit on Brandon Weeden

Ndamukong Suh again finds himself in the NFL's crosshairs. The Lions defensive tackle who has already been fined $100000 this season for an illegal block on Vikings' center John Sullivan could be facing more sanctions after a questionable hit on Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden last Sunday. The play wasn't flagged on the field but it didn't escape the watchful eye...

NFL exec fined Ndamukong Suh to 'get his attention'

If the first six didn’t work, the NFL tried to send Ndamukong Suh a message by fining him a seventh time this week. Suh was docked $31,500 for a questionable hit on Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden during last week’s game. The fine was Suh’s second this season. He was also forced to pay $100,000 earlier this year after throwing a low block on Vikings center John Sullivan....

Suh Fined $31,500 For Hit on Brandon Weeden

Cleveland Browns Week Six: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Rather than a tale of two cities, last Sunday’s Browns game could be described as a tale of two halves culminating in a disappointing loss to the Detroit Lions by a score of 31-17 in front of 70,000-plus at First Energy Stadium. Currently tied for second place in the AFC North, the Cleveland Browns (3-3) missed a chance to tie...

5 Reasons Why Cleveland is a Tough Matchup for the Packers

Despite all the injuries that have decimated their roster the past couple weeks, the 3-2 Packers certainly deserve to be favorites going into Sunday's matchup with the Browns at Lambeau Field. But ten point favorites? That may be a bit much. Certainly the Packers have a decided advantage at the most important position on the field with quarterback Aaron Rodgers going up against...
