I think I know why the Eagles Suck

After yesterday's disgrace I sat down and thought about the culmination of this season so far. And at first, I couldnt point out one, single major flaw or reason for our mediocrity other than a few stupid, simple, little things that have added up to 4 losses and a tie. But after going over everything I realized what it is. It's a lack of FIRE, PASSION and LEADERSHIP. You know, yesterday during the game I looked at my buddy and I was like, "why the fu** isn't mcnabb on the sidelines screaming at people"? "why isnt he lighting a fire under anyone's ass?" Now, I understand McNabb isn't an animated, "ra-ra" guy, but the fact that he does nothing on the sidelines makes me sick. And he's not the only one. Other than dawk, I just don't see it. There is more to succesful football than x's and o's. There's a will to seek and destroy, to rise above adversity, to have fun together and to do whatever it takes to win, NO MATTER WHAT. As I see it, there are only a few players on the team that I truly think are leaving it all out on the fled. Those players are as follows: Quinten Mikell, Asante Samuel, Desean Jackson, Hank Baskett, Jon Runyan, Trent Cole and Jucqua Parker. I might be leaving out Stew Bradley but I just feel as though he's been subpar the past few games. Of course, I haven't mentioned Andy Reid and the coaching staff at all in this article. But I think that it's pretty obvious that major changes need to be made. It's not fair to us as fans that go to and watch these games faithfully season after season and let the players coaches and front office personnel get away with mediocrity and laziness. Why they seem to think every year that we're good enough to not go out and get players in FA and the draft is beyond me. ESPECIALLY THE DRAFT!!! I mean the past few draft's have been stacked in the first round! There are so many players that we could have had and it makes me absolutely livid. Bad decisions, bad coaching, bad play-calling, lack of team chemistry, lack of passion, a dull quarterback, you take your pick. I am just about past the point of frustration and anger. In fact, it's much worse than anger because Im just starting not to care anymore. And I didn't think I'd ever say that. I say after this season we clean house for good.
