12th Man Rising:
Since we have a few extra days between games, I’ve decided I’m going to to take a moment to look ahead to the upcoming offseason. This next offseason is going to be a very important one for the Seahawks. This is a team with many pieces in place to be able to contend for a title, so the pressure will be on the front office to fill in the remaining holes left on this team. After going through the roster and looking at contracts, trying to figure out what the the Seahawks offseason “needs” are going to be. Here’s my take, position by position:QB: Jackson will return, but a QB of the future needs to be found.RB: Lynch is a free agent but is likely to be re-signed. Forsett seems to be a likely cut, so the Seahawks need a backup.FB: Robinson is playing better. A solid Mack Strong caliber player would be nice, but isn’t required. … [visit site to read more]

The Seattle Seahawks delivered another blow to the reeling Philadelphia Eagles with a 31-14 defeat while RB Marshawn Lynch continued his torrid pace in the victory. The Seattle Seahawks intercepted Philadelphia Eagles QB Vince Young four times, returning the last one for an interception on their way to winning their third game in four tries last night.

The Seahawks just improved to 5-7, and looked reasonably good doing it. Browner managed to cut down on the penalties, Golden Tate and Zach Miller both got involved in the passing game, and Marshawn Lynch did his level best to earn that fat new contract he wants the Seahawks to give him when his current one expires at the end of the season. What more could you ask for?
The Seahawks might have stomped the Eagles last night, but the city of Philadelphia has scored a victory of its own against Seattle's NFL franchise. Raheem Brock, a Philly native and a Temple graduate, was recently sentenced to six months probation in Philly Municipal Court on one count of theft. More »

In conclusion, if you reward your child with candy for every positive deed, they’ll either grow up to be a mentally warped fatty with a skewed set of extrinsic motivations or a borderline deranged NFL running back. I’ll take those odds.
If your a football fan you know the Eagles got swamped 31-14 last night by the Seahawks. You also know Marshawn Lynch has been on fire during the second half of the season and is a must start in fantasy. No better way to celebrate one of his two touchdowns last night than grab a bag of sugar filled skittles and go to town.
Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch rocked the Eagles on Thursday night and generated some laughs by snacking on Skittles following his first-quarter touchdown burst. Now the candy makers are taking pains to ensure he never runs out.
SEATTLE, Wash. -- In a game where the Seattle Seahawks beat the tar out of the Philadelphia Eagles to the tune of a 31-14 score and ran for 178 yards on 33 carries in the process, Marshawn Lynch's 15-yard touchdown run with 9:19 remaining in the first quarter may have been the definitive play. It typified the way Lynch has been running over the last month — as physically as...
During his time playing in San Francisco, Michael Robinson said the mention of the Seattle Seahawks came with a label no NFL team wants to have.
Marshawn Lynch ran for 148 yards and a pair of first-half touchdowns as the Seattle Seahawks beat the Philadelphia Eagles 31-14 on Thursday night.
The Seattle Seahawks rebounded nicely from a tough loss against Washington last week by defeating a talented, but wounded Philadelphia Eagles’ squad 31-14. Seattle was solid in all three phases of the game, but this one belonged to Marshawn Lynch, who finished with a season-high 148 rushing yards on 22 carries and two touchdowns. Lynch ran over, around and through Philadelphia...
