Following the recent suspension of Justin Blackmon for his violation of the NFL’s substance abuse policy, the Jacksonville Jaguars have a huge decision to make, and that is whether or not they want to keep him on their roster. After all, this is Blackmon’s second black mark since joining the team less than a year ago, and this indiscretion is leading to him missing games. He was arrested last season on DUI charge before he even signing his first contract. It is conceivable that the new regime which is in place may want to cleanse themselves of last year’s 5th overall pick, even tough the Jags traded up in the draft to get him. While we aren’t fully convinced they will do that, especially after he displayed his potential in the second half of the season, but it is impossible to ignore the possiblity. Assuming he clears waivers, Blackmon would then be free to sign with anyone that he wants, and we believe there are two teams that would not hesitate to bring him in, but with certain conditions.
