Sometimes Las Vegas gets it completely wrong. Right now, as of the typing of this article, the New York Jets are favored by three points over the Indianapolis Colts in the upcoming clash at the New Meadowlands. Then again, point spreads are usually indicative of "betting trends". Leading me to believe that Vegas, in its infinite wisdom, expects people to put their hard-earned, recession-riddled cash down on New York emerging victorious from this game.I have a problem with this. This game should be closer to a "pick 'em", a situation where nobody really knows who's winning this game. I, however, am going to give it my best shot here. There's a multitude of variables to consider in Sunday's game. Here then, are my three predictions:1: Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan Reverts To His Old Self, Goes "All In To Win"....When Rex Ryan first became head coach of the New York Jets, he had a big mouth. I liked that, and respected the hell out of it. With tha...

LT has some sage advice for Tebow

Lawrence Taylor made an appearance on Wednesday's Inside the NFL and he had some unique advice for Jets QB Tim Tebow on how to make it in The Big Apple.

The New York Jets cannot score on offense. They have to start Tim Tebow if they want to win. Week 6 Preview.

Tim Tebow is the Jets only chance at winning. I've been calling for Tebow to start for New York since they traded for him. In other articles I've noted the lack of talent on offense and less than dominate defense as reasons to start Tebow. This was all before Holmes and Revis went down. The bottom line is that teams that lack offensive talent run option offenses. You...

Lawrence Taylor offers some words of advice for Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow is a lot of things. He is a devout Christian. He is a Heisman Trophy winner. He is a marketing gimmick, and most importantly he’s a lightning rod for football fans of every ilk, mostly because he’s terrible at playing quarterback. And with this lightning rod status, everyone has an opinion. The latest [...]

Run, Tim, Run! Tebow To Play Running Back for New York

The Tim Tebow saga has been one of the interesting stories in NFL history. When Tebow was drafted by the Broncos in the first round of the 2010, there were questions as to whether he could actually be a successful NFL quarterback. Although he had an agglomeration of collegiate accolades, he lacked the proper technique and mechanics needed to be a starter in the NFL. Many people...

The Denver Broncos and Tim Tebow, Since The Breakup

In 2011 under a majority of games with Tim Tebow as the starter the Bronco’s offense averaged 316.6 yards and 19.3 points a game. In 2012 under the Peyton Manning regime the Bronco offense is among the league’s best averaging 388.4 yards and 27 points a game.Despite the contrast in offensive output the Tebow led Broncos looked more like a winning team then does an almost identical...

Tebow's status uncertain for Sunday

Tim Tebow was limited in practice again with two broken ribs, leaving the New York Jets backup quarterback's status uncertain for the team's game Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. Coach Rex Ryan says Thursday that the Jets will continue to ''monitor his situation.'' Tebow was injured at Seattle on Nov. 11, played three offensive snaps the following week...

Jets owner: Tebow to stay for 3 years

Jets owner Woody Johnson says backup quarterback Tim Tebow will ''be with us for three years,'' and also backs struggling starter Mark Sanchez. Johnson tells CNBC on Wednesday that despite some speculation that the Jets could try to trade Tebow after this season, his first in New York, the team will ''absolutely'' keep him for the duration of his...

Andrew Luck and the Colts could be the team that starts Tebow-Mania in New York

Last week Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts played extremely well against the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers. On the last 2 minutes of the game, Andrew Luck led his team down the field for the win. This week they will face a team who has their backs against the wall in the New York Jets. There has been tons of drama over the past couple of weeks with Sanchez and Tebow...

PREVIEW: Colts (2-2) vs NY Jets (2-3)

WILL THE COLTS RUN OUT OF LUCK AT METLIFE STADIUM THIS SUNDAY? After an up-and-down five weeks -- a period in which many pundits predicted the rise of New York's prodigal back-up quarterback, Tim Tebow as the starter -- Mark Sanchez is still the man for the New York Jets. The fourth year starter is in the middle of a career-worst four-game stretch, amidst a complete overhaul...

Jets owner says Sanchez will remain the starter and Tebow isnt going anywhere

A few weeks ago a rumor emerged that New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow might request a trade at the end of the season if he doesn’t become the starting quarterback.During an interview with CNBC on Wednesday morning, Jets owner Woody Johnson was asked if quarterback Tim Tebow will be with the Jets after this season.“Are we going to keep Tebow? Absolutely,” Johnson said, via...

Florham Park, N.J.: When the Jets decided to acquire Tim Tebow from the Denver Broncos this past offseason, talking heads around various sports media outlets claimed there was a quarterback controversy.  Before practice, let alone games, were even played, Rex Ryan had to field questions on the leash length on Mark Sanchez and when the inevitable takeover would happen.Ryan gracefully...

Preview And Prediction: Colts (2-2) @ Jets (2-3) No matter how many outsiders call for Tim Tebow to take over as the New York Jets’ starting quarterback, coach Rex Ryan is standing behind Mark Sanchez.
