What a confidence booster for the Indianapolis Colts and their fan base.
Sure the Kansas City Chiefs haven’t really beaten anybody of note this season, but they’re a good team that has won on a consistent basis this season.

And the Colts pulled out a convincing victory against them today.
The Colts’ banged up interior line held up, their running backs put forth a productive outing, the receivers stepped up and the franchise quarterback had another great day.
And all thanks go to the offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton.
He called another great game, opening up the offense and fluctuating the tempo throughout the game: all in all, giving Andrew Luck more freedom than he has had all season.
Griff Whalen also had a huge day and I am loving his progression as this season comes to a close. And Donald Brown put forth another great effort on the ground and through the air, scoring both Colts’ touchdowns.
Let’s not forget to give credit to the offensive line, I was skeptical of how they would perform today but they gave Luck a proper pocket and helped this offense succeed in Kansas City.
But the defense was the true surprise of the afternoon: holding the Chiefs scoreless after their first drive of the game.
They were hitting hard, flying to the ball and taking advantage of turnover oppurtunities, of which they had three.
Credit goes to Greg Manusky (who I’m still not sold on), Chuck Pagano and Greg Toler.
Sure, Toler didn’t play a lot, but apparently there’s something about seeing him in pads that makes this defense go.
At least, that’s my theory.
Outside of the defense, I really liked what I saw from the receiving core and backfield. As I stated before Whalen is looking like a

great signing these past few weeks, Da’Rick Rogers is a threat that defenses have to account for, LaVon Brazill can help produce big plays alongside T.Y. Hilton and Coby Fleener has brought forth decent production.
As long as the Colts can solidify their offensive line situation I really like the Colts’ chances in the playoffs.
Yes, I am retracting my statement of a few weeks back when I said the Colts are a pretender. They are starting to prove they can be a viable threat in the weak AFC.
In fact, they still have a chance at the 2nd seed in the playoffs. In order to attain that goal, the Colts must beat the Jacksonville Jaguars next week and the Baltimore Ravens have to win both of their last two games.
Time to get out the Ravens gear: Go Ravens and Go Colts!

Earlier this year TMZ reported that someone was shopping a sex tape of Colts RB Trent Richardson in an orgy with three different women. After months of shopping the video, it seems that there have been no takers for the flick. The seller has since pulled the plug on trying to get some easy money off of Richardson’s name.
Sad to say but Trent Richardson just isn’t big enough...
Free Agent & ex-Lindenwood RB Denodus O’Bryant is en route to Indianapolis to sign with the playoff-bound Colts, according to a source. O’Bryant will sign to the practice squad immediately, but will probably sign to the active roster during the postseason. O’Bryant (5’9, 195 pounds), capped a spectacular college career in 2012 with 1,284 yards […]
It’s not Andrew Luck or Trent Richardson the Kansas City Chiefs should be worried about in the first round of the AFC playoffs. Instead, it might be Indianapolis Colts’ running back Donald Brown who had a season-high 110 yards from scrimmage on only 12 touches in a 23-7 beat-down.
Andrew Luck completed 70 percent of this throws and picked apart the Chiefs defense as Brown finished...
Everything went right for the Indianapolis Colts Sunday when the played Kansas City. Heading into last week’s game, the Indianapolis Colts had their best grouping of offensive linemen for the entire season. And it looked to be a unit on the verge of major improvement as the post-season approaches.
Mike McGlynn is an adequate center and a major upgrade to Samson Satele. But he is playing guard this week, a position he isn’t suited for well (Photo credit: Colts...

He wasn’t born in a stable in a far away land. He was actually born in New Jersey. But, he’s earned the title of savior nonetheless.
When the devastating injuries started piling up, when the Colts lost players like Dwayne Allen, Vick Ballard, Ahmad Bradshaw, and Reggie Wayne…it became obvious. The Colts needed someone…anyone to...

Christmas came early for the Indianapolis Colts on Friday. Even though the Indianapolis Colts won't know their playoff seeding until after next week's games, they're probably hoping that the Chiefs are their first opponent.

Back in 2004, with the Indianapolis Colts, Peyton Manning established a new single-season NFL record when he tossed 49 touchdowns passes. Nine years and four neck surgeries later Manning regained his top spot, after Tom Brady bettered him by one in 2007, in the league’s record book by connecting with Julius Thomas for a 25-yard score.
